Ananda K. Maharjan

President, Callijatra Foundation Bachelor of Business Studies, Tribhuvan University

Ananda Kumar Maharjan is a Graphic / Type Designer and Calligrapher from Kathmandu, Nepal. With over 20 years of experience in Graphic Design, he has created fonts in Nepal Lipi, Devanagari, Latin and the Ranjana script. Currently, he is the Creative Head of Hamro Patro, which is one of the most popular Nepali apps in Nepal.

Lalima Shrestha (Lumu)

Vice-President, Callijatra Foundation Secretary, World Newah Organization Masters in Sociology, Tribhuvan University

Lalima (Lumu ) is a cultural educator and preservationist, serving as an instructor of traditional Ranjana scripts and Nepal lipi while working at Child Development Society, dedicating her expertise to promoting and preserving Newa culture, language and traditional writing systems.

Nitu Dangol

Joint Secretary, Callijatra Foundation Youth Ambassador, World Newah Organization Masters in Nepalbhasa & Masters in Business Studies, Tribhuvan University

Nitu Dangol is a dedicated educator serving as Nepalbhasa Teacher at Shree Sharada Basic School. A passionate advocate for culture and community, she was crowned Miss Newa 2019 and works as a program presenter for Indigenous Television and WNO Daily Broadcast. Additionally, Nitu is an experienced freelance event host.

Suyogya Ratna Tamrakar

Secretary, Callijatra Foundation President, Tawa: Yuwa Pucha iOS Development Team Lead, FoneNxt Pvt. Ltd. Masters in Computer Engineering, AIT Thailand

Tamrakar is a culturally rooted software engineer with over five years of experience in iOS native app development. As a member of Callijatra Foundation, he actively contributes to preserving Nepal Bhasa and indigenous scripts through workshops and digital platforms. He leads Tawa: Yuwa Pucha to empower youth from the Tamrakar community. A fluent speaker of Nepal Bhasa and passionate musician, he combines technology and tradition to promote cultural continuity.

Arts and Program Manager of Taragaon Next

Amatya had conducted his BFA exhibition on his project Nepalakchyar in 2015 the Indigenous script of Kathmandu Valley. He has also served as the dialogue partner of the Language Commission (the constitutional body of Nepal). He has contributed to heritage conservation through his writings and activism.
